How Your Points System is Structured

We regularly add new activities and refine the fairness of our points system by evaluating them more accurately.

How are points calculated?

We continually add new activities and keep improving our points system to weight the different activities even more fairly. We use the MET (metabolic equivalent) as a basis for calculation, which makes different activities comparable on a scientific basis.

For distance related workouts you get the following points per km:

For altitude meters you additionally get 1,5 points per meter.

For sports without distance, you receive the following points per minute:

When a workout is entered manually, for some sports, there is an intensity slider. Its value is multiplied with the points value. The default factor here is 0,8. For imported workouts a higher intensity / more accurate time value is assumed, hence the factor 1 is used.

For bodyweight training: Depending on the difficulty of the exercise you get 1-2,5 points per repetition.

For steps you get 25 points per 1.000 steps.
