Collect kilometers in everyday life

Content

For our health, it is of elementary importance that we move enough every day. By exercising, we activate our circulation, get our head clear and de-rust our muscles. In the following post, you'll learn how to easily rack up plenty of miles in your daily routine during our Special Challenge.

Active lunch breaks

Whether you’re at work or in your home office, use your lunch break to take a walk.

Make phone calls while walking

Longer phone calls in particular are perfect for combining with a walk.

Use your bike instead of the car

Whether it’s work, shopping, fitness or visiting friends: Try to cycle as much as possible. This not only makes you physically healthy, but also happy.

Parking with distance

Don’t park your car directly at your destination, but take the opportunity to walk a few minutes. Especially after and before a stressful day at work, this can work wonders.

Walk a bus or train station

If you are traveling by public transport, take the chance to get off one or two stops before your destination and take a walk.

Walking Coffee

Make a date to have a coffee or other drink while walking. Exercise is even more fun with company, and conversations while moving tend to being relaxed and optimistic.

Exercise while watching TV

If you have an exercise bike, it can be a good way to exercise while watching TV or listening to music, especially in bad weather.

Stairs instead of elevator

An old but effective trick is to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Your fitness will thank you.

For the upcoming weeks of the challenge, it’s best to pick two or three of the ideas you want to try out. In the morning, think about what you want to do today and in the evening, reflect on how you did and how you feel. In this way, exercise will quickly become a good habit in your everyday life. We wish you much success and exercise in your everyday life!
